On the 8th August get your employees to wear pyjamas to work and donate £2 a person to raise awareness and research for Severe M.E.
If you’re on social media, follow @MEFoggyDog and @StripyLightCIC to make sure you get all the latest updates with specific activities where you can get involved.
Click here to access the campaign assets which we’d love you to share amongst your networks and on your social media channels. There are several different graphics, so please choose whichever you prefer.
- Choose a poster to print and display in your workplace to raise awareness and encourage staff to participate and donate.
- Post photographs/videos of staff wearing their pyjamas in the workplace, holding our printable sign (in campaign assets), and spread awareness of the campaign on social media using hashtags #BedForSevereME and PJsandProtocol
- Tweet your support for the campaign and tag us @mefoggydog and @StripylightCIC
- Post on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram about BED for severe M.E.
When sharing the campaign online, it would be great if you could write a short statement about why this campaign matters and encourage other organisations to join the campaign. Please use our hashtags to highlight the need for heightened awareness of severe M.E and the need for a NHS protocol/policy for severe M.E.
Not sure what to say? Use this text: “People living with severe M.E have nothing. No treatments, no cure, no NHS protocol/policy. I am/we are happy to support BED for severe M.E. and hope greater awareness leads to improvements in healthcare for this vulnerable and neglected group #BedForSevereME #PJsAndProtocol’
